About Us

Our Story

Struck Lone Tree Acres began not as a business plan, but as a simple desire to raise food the right way.

In 2021, our family started with a small flock of chickens, driven by curiosity, self‑reliance, and a growing appreciation for where food truly comes from. What began as a personal project quickly turned into a passion. As we learned more about animal care, pasture health, and sustainable farming practices, the connection between land, animals, and family became central to our everyday lives.

By 2024, that passion became official. Struck Lone Tree Acres was established to share what we had been building: farm‑fresh, pasture‑raised chickens raised with care and intention. Nestled on 40 acres of Nebraska land, our farm includes over 10 acres of open pasture where our chickens are free to roam, peck, and live as chickens are meant to. We believe healthier animals, raised outdoors with room to move, result in better food for families like ours and yours. Our Story Continued...

Our farm is, at its heart, a family effort. Katie, my wife, supports the farm while also running her own creative endeavor, designing and crafting handmade and custom pottery that reflects the same values of patience, craftsmanship, and authenticity found in our farming. Our four daughters are part of daily farm life, helping feed and care for the chickens and learning firsthand the responsibilities and rewards that come with caring for animals and land.

The story of Struck Lone Tree Acres is rooted in growth, growth of pasture, livestock, and family. It’s reflected in our logo and imagery, which serve as a reminder of our connection to the land, our commitment to simplicity, and the value of standing firm in our principles even as we continue to grow.

We are proud to be stewards of this land and grateful for the opportunity to provide food raised with integrity. Whether you’re visiting us online, at a pickup, or enjoying one of our products at your table, you’re part of our story, and we thank you for supporting our family farm.
